What does Operations mean at Paddle?

We are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our business and the well-being of our people. If we do our job right, then the rest of Paddle can focus on building a world-class platform and getting it to market. Operations means Finance, Data, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, People and Talent. Data is at the heart of everything we do. We are constantly analyzing, improving and automating our processes and working to support all other parts of our business.

Your development is important to us

We care deeply about personal and professional development. The majority of training is done on the job, we also have a lot of internal resources and we have knowledge sessions on a regular basis which cover either aspects of the business or key skills. We provide external training for first time managers, we have a training budget to allow all our people to develop as individuals and if you want to gain a relevant professional qualification we will sponsor you.

Benefits of working in Operations

In Operations you get a unique insight into all areas of the business and will be working closely with your colleagues across teams. Each part of Operations operates as an agile and independent unit, aiming for all voices to be heard with as little top down management as possible. Working from home occasionally or coming in early or late are encouraged as long as they don't kill productivity. We'll provide you with in house training and dedicate budget for external training as well.

Initial phone call

An intro chat with our Talent team where you walk us through your CV and we explain the process, the company and the role in detail and help you understand how it fits within our ecosystem.

Second Stage Interview

Chat to your peers and senior members of your future team about your past experiences and how you’d apply them at Paddle. Find out more about the role and ask us questions.

Final Interview

Come see us on site and meet further team members or team leads. We may ask you to prepare a short presentation or sit in a practical exercise. Tell us about any ideas and ask any final questions.
